In a perfect world rules wouldn't be needed if people always did the right thing, sadly they don't. Rules are enforced by the server administrators, violation of these rules may result in one of the following actions:

• Restriction of Build Rights
• Revocation of World
• Incarceration
• Temporary Ban
• Permanent Ban (IP and/or Player)

The rules, in no particular order are:

• No griefing.
• Don't modify others creations without their permission.
• Don't build close to others structures (unless they are okay with it).
• No speed/flying hacks or any other client/server exploits.
• Mature behaviour is expected, justified mature language is fine.
• Don't attempt to tax the servers processing ability.
• Don't attempt PVP unless you are in a PVP world.
• Servers primary language is English, and good English at that. 1337 or txt speak are not welcome here.
• Harmless banter is fine providing the other user takes it in good spirit, if they ask you to stop then you must do so. If you continue it becomes harassment.
• Homophobic, racist or sexist comments are not welcome in any situation.
• Harassment of others will not be tolerated.
• All server chat communication is logged, public channels or private messages.
• Don't steal others resources, return any you accidentally obtain.
• While there are no rules in "Frontier" please spread out.
• Try to avoid building phallic objects for the sake of it.
• No vertical stick lookouts (at least build a tower).
• No single block Skyways (make an effort).
• Floating structures are acceptable when they look right.
• Practice sustainable forestry, it really doesn't take long to plant the saplings.
• Administrators have the final say in any matter.

These rules sound worse then they are, simply please be civil to other players, build and play in the spirit of SMP and you'll be fine.
